Thanks to our long standing partnership with the University of Chester in the U.K., for the past 5 weeks we have had the great pleasure of hosting a group of 11 students completing their “Learning in the Wider World” module. As always, they have made a huge contribution to our ongoing community outreach and teaching projects and they will be sorely missed!

Three of these students (who are currently studying Events Management) planned and held a Talent Show for children in the local community.  EDGE on Talent is an event that was initiated by previous University of Chester students (in 2010) and since then the tradition has been continued by each new student group – each group adding their own individual flare!

This year’s event was another roaring success and we are extremely proud of the work that the students put into planning this great event; and making sure everything went smoothly on the day!  We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the other students and volunteers who helped with running the event on the day – it really was a great team effort!

I think it is safe to say that the children who participated in the event had a great time and the audience thoroughly enjoyed seeing our amazing local talent!!
