You will assist with Environmental Restoration in the Garden Route, South Africa. Help us to protect and restore the beautiful natural habitats of the Garden Route, including endangered wetland areas, coastal areas and lush indigenous forests.

Environmental Restoration Garden Route projects include removing alien invasive plants which out-compete natural plants and exhaust all important water sources; and clearing litter which takes away from the natural beauty of the area and injures animals. We at EDGE of AFRICA have also declared war on plastic so one of the projects includes clearing our beautiful beaches of macro plastics and helping to create awareness around preserving our natural spaces.

This is a highly rewarding volunteer project to be involved in, where you can clearly see the fruits of your labour! It is a project that requires physical commitment but we are able to tailor the work to your physical capabilities.
