Combination volunteer program details:

These are some of the projects you will be involved in when you join this program.

  • All project costs, equipment, tools and resources
  • Pick up from George airport or Knysna bus stop (bus ticket from Cape Town, Jo’burg or PE to Knysna is included free of charge!)
  • Transfer from Knysna to Polokwane
  • Transfer from Polokwane to reserve (and back to Polokwane upon departure)

moderate-2hand2In Knysna, You will have access to all amenities including running water, electricity and internet. Most bankcards work at local banks (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX). You will also find that you can purchase almost anything at local shops.

At the reserve, You will have access to all necessary amenities including running water, electricity and internet access.  However, you will only have the opportunity to visit the closest town on set days (normally every 2 weeks).  On town visit days you will have access to restaurants, shops and banks/ATMs.
